Top 10 budget water villas in Maldives
Even the most budget water villas in the Maldives are relatively expensive by most of the standards. They start at around US$200 per night (even lower in June and July), and the cheapest of them are based on all-inclusive (alcohol including) plans, so they offer better value that it might first seem.
However, you’ll need to spend at least a bit more to get a stand-alone water villa set over a crystal clear lagoon. So here we came up with a list of the chepest Water Villas for Summer 2018 (up to 30 Oct 2018).
Reethi Beach Resort

These villas give you the ability to have your own part of the sea for snorkelling without having to leave your things unattended on the beach. You can simply go out for a swim whenever you want to via the balcony. The only problem with the Reethi water villa is that the bathrooms are at the back of the bedroom and it means that to get to the bathroom after swimming means walking wet through the bedroom and leaving a trail of water and sand in the bedroom which can be quite slippery and messy.
Some point out that this is an older resort (for the Maldives) and that things are a bit more worn out than they are at most of the newer ones, while others understand that this is to be expected in this price range for a private-island Maldives resort.
